Ask For the Campaign in Plain English

July 27, 2026 · 4 min read · By Growth7

Most AI features in marketing software are a button that writes a paragraph. Useful, occasionally. Not a change in how the work gets done.

The change comes when the assistant can reach the actual system — your audience, your campaigns, your content library, your numbers — and act on them.

What that looks like

Growth7 exposes itself over the Model Context Protocol, which means an assistant like Claude can connect directly and work with the platform: list campaigns, draft one, pull the leads that engaged this week, generate an image into the library, read last month's numbers.

You describe what you want. The work happens against your real records, not a copy pasted into a chat window and pasted back out again.

The connection is scoped, not open

An assistant connecting to a business system is only a good idea if the boundaries hold.

The credential carries the identity and the tenant. Scope comes off the credential and never off what the assistant asks for, so it cannot reach another company's data by requesting it. A connection made for read-across-all-companies cannot write anything, because there is no sensible target for a write.

Connections are made by the person, visible to them, and revocable in one click.

Why this matters more than a writing feature

The bottleneck in marketing was never producing a paragraph. It was the twenty minutes of navigation around the paragraph — finding the segment, pulling the asset, checking what ran last time.

That is the part an assistant with real access removes.
